Help us bring them poetry and art! This is the second US community to have a Broadsides on the Bus bus project. The first, in 2013, was Moscow, Idaho. BROADSIDES ON THE BUS: CAPE COD CALL FOR POEMS WANTED: Poems by Cape Cod writers for the inaugural Cape Cod Broadsides on the Bus program. Two pieces of art by Cape artists (see call for submissions) are shown below. We want YOU to create literary responses to them. The editors will select a poem for each, and the resulting collaboration will be designed to ride the buses of Cape Cod in spring/summer/fall of 2014. These special collaborations will join broadsides from the Broadsided Press archives as well as poetry and art from the the Cultural Center of Cape Cods annual Mutual Muses program. On Friday, May 16, at 6 pm a reading, reception and kickoff event will be held at the Transportation Center in Hyannis—it cleans up nice.
