Brooklyn, NY Well this is a new scenario. Kobe’s owner appeased his personal guilt at ditching his beloved dog in the shelter by bringing a bag of leftover dog food along with his dog. Kobe must have thought that he was going on a fun camping trip; he’s probably looking for his owner and waiting for the fun part of this excursion to begin. Kobe’s already 8-years old so he’s going to have a tough time adjusting to a new lifestyle. That would be the best outcome for Kobe but right now it appears that he won’t be so lucky. Kobe’s name has been penciled in on tomorrow’s Kill List and that obviously spells disaster for Kobe. Kobe is so scared to be on his own at the shelter and his fear is tangible. Kobe channels his fear to whoever is tending to him at the moment making it all the more unlikely that he will be picked to go home with someone. Kobe deserves so much better but we need to find a human who understands the trauma that he’s endured. Please find a new and loving home where Kobe can decompress. Kobe only has tonight
