Brothers Jasper and Pep, born on 01 January 2014, were separated in mid-April. Chance reunited them today when Jasper and I got out of a cab and a Basenji was standing 5 feet away. I asked his owner if we could say hi, he said yes then asked the name of my dog with an I think I know who he is look on his face. After I told him my dog was Jasper, he said his dog was Pep and that they are brothers. I knew Pep lived in the neighborhood and we finally ran into him after months of hoping.
