Brothers & Sisters, I’m writing you because this is urgent. Our future at American Airlines is at stake. The DOJ’s attempt to block the American-US Airways merger will put our members at a competitive disadvantage. The DOJ would allow market share to be concentrated with just two mega-carriers – United and Delta. Faced with increased competition, American Airlines would be weakened and without a viable reorganization plan as a stand-alone carrier...Sign our petition now to tell Attorney General Holder not to block the merger. We can’t allow our equity stake and pay increase to be delayed by irrational government intervention.
