Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 5:1 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. - Colossians 1:20 2) The peace of God - the result of perfect trust and quiet confidence in the Lord. Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6,7 And let the peace of God (or of Christ) rule (be the umpire) in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. - Colossians 3:15 3) The presence of the God of Peace - the result of consistent practice, the practical outworking of the life and calling that God has given, and for this a pattern has been provided in the person of the apostle Paul.
