Brownouts been the norm in Davao lately. I have stopped asking why we are having it or whats causing it. All Im convinced of is that theres a conspiracy theory somewhere. Our bill just arrived and despite the daily brownout, our bill has increased by 4k, hello increased generation charge!! I am worried one of the appliances will conk out on me because of the sudden power surge they experience everyday. DLPC wont buy me a new ref if mine dies, or will they? On the upside, no electricity equals no telly and everyone is forced to huddle where the rechargeable fan and battery-powered led lamp are. So we get an hour of chatting with each other. But it sucks how the weather is oh-so-humid. And hot. Unbearable himid-hot.
