Browns TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) did not practice on - TopicsExpress

Browns TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. No surprise there. Cameron sustained his 3rd concussion in 3 years on Sunday. Hes an extreme long shot to be cleared in time for this weekends game against the Bucs and should be considered questionable for Week 10. Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) practiced on Wednesday. Its his first Wednesday practice since Week 6. Well see how Greens toe responds and whether hes able to practice again tomorrow, but he certainly has a good chance to return for this weekends game against the Jaguars. Bengals RB Gio Bernard (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. He never returned to last weeks game after the early-4th-quarter injury, and theres been no update for the team since. The general belief among the media is that its not a serious injury, but Bernard isnt a lock to play against the Jaguars this Sunday. RB Jeremy Hill could see 20+ touches if Bernard is out. Bucs RB Doug Martin did not practice on Wednesday and was in a walking boot, according to ESPNs Adam Schefter. The boot could be anything from precautionary to a sign of a serious injury. Either way, though, Martin is clearly in danger of missing this weekends game against the Browns. Sounds like Bobby Rainey and Charles Sims time, Schefter tweeted. It turns out Ravens TE Owen Daniels knee procedure this past Friday truly was minor. He was back on the practice field on Wednesday, giving him a good chance to return for Sunday nights showdown with the Steelers. Daniels scored twice against Pittsburgh back in Week 2, despite playing behind Dennis Pitta. If were confident in his health, hell be a fine spot-start option for Week 9. Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (knee) remained sidelined on Wednesday. Hes now over 6 weeks removed from his sprained MCL, which was originally expected to cost him 4-5 weeks. Mathews has always been a slow healer, though. And with the Chargers approaching their Week 10 bye, it makes sense to hold him out another game. Look for Mathews to return for Week 11. He should regain lead-back duties.
