Bruce Springsteen was awesome!! Of course it wasnt the same without Clarence. And Stevie wasnt there tonight either -- I really missed him but I read hes in Norway or somewhere (I forget) filming a tv show. Whos the guy in the hat taking his place that looks like Baron Samedi in that get-up? LOL! (Voodoo Lord of the Dead, featured in Live and Let Die and The Zombies of Sugar Hill) (LOL!). Anyway, Patti wasnt there tonight either -- if only I would have paid for a full-price ticket down front there would have been my chance to go after Bruce! LOL! But seriously must remember to get the expensive ticket down front from now on -- Bruce went into the audience so many times and lots of girls got to hug and kiss him -- arrgh!! And he pulled kids up on stage to dance with him -- how cool! He pulled up one whole family on stage with him, and during the encore he went and got an older lady out of the audience to play his guitar and dance and picked her up and lifted her back down to her spot on the floor! And he sang such great songs and totally rocked everything!! High Hopes! Adam Raised a Cain! OMG when he played Prove It All Night I just cried! (Yes everybody roll your eyes at me -- LOL!) That just took me back 30 years! And then he played The River!! OMG!!!!! And Badlands and The Rising! I cant remember everything right now, youll have to check the setlist on the backstreets website. And he did such a long encore, with Born to Run, of course, and a big long and rowdy Shout! I dont know where he gets the energy for such a long show, and he and the band dont even take breaks! It was just short of 3 hours! Totally amazing and awesome!
