Brush 1 is a 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 4X4 built by Anchor-Richey EVS. It has a Cummins turbo diesel engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The skid unit is equipped with a 200 GPM Hale pump powered by a Briggs & Stratton 18 hp engine, 300 gallon water tank, 10 gallon Class A foam tank, a Blizzard-Wizard foam inductor and a booster reel mounted on top. This unit also has a 1.5 in. pre-connect line and 1 in. forest service line. Brush 1 is the first out apparatus from Station 1 on all wildland fires in the western part of our district.
