Bucs sign Ghana duo!!!!!! According to an agent close to the deal, an agreement has been reached with their Ghanaian club AshGold to sign the two players. The deal was agreed during a meeting with AshGold CEO Cudjoe Fianoo who arrived in South Africa on Wednesday to hold talks with Pirates chief Irvin Khoza. Ashgold have agreed to the offer tabled by Pirates and the players have reached an agreement over their personal terms with the South African club. The deal will be sealed when the players pass their medicals scheduled for South Africa by next month. "The talks went very well and AshGold and Pirates have reached a deal but the Ghanaian club must now approve the deal on their return home. "The players will undergo medicals before the deal is sealed and it is a good deal for all the parties involved. The two players are happy with the personal terms offered." Buccaneers were searching for a replacement for the departing goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs and the 28-year-old AshGold keeper will be the right replacement. Dauda, who impressed during the recent African Cup of Nations in South Africa, is seen as one of the top shot-stopper in Africa has spent five years with the Obuasi-based club. Striker Yakubu is seen as one of the top strikers in Ghana and is among the leading scorers in the Ghanaian top-flight.
