Buddy: I am not really sure what happened these last few days….First my family put me in a car and drove me to this Vet clinic at the University. They said they love me and they left (what kind of love is that)… I met these awesome students who took good care of me, but I could not understand why my family left me…. is it because I was hit by that stupid speeding truck??? Maybe, I was not good for them anymore??? I have never spent a night in a cage before in my life, but I didnt have a choice. This nice doctor called someone in the morning. After he finished phone conversation he told students to shave me. I was trying to tell them: hey guys, I am lab not a poodle, but they weren’t listening, so I look like a poodle now. After that I suddenly felt tired and went to sleep. When I woke up I was very, very sore. My back legs were hurting again almost like after the accident. I am not sure what happened, but one student was talking to someone on a phone about me. She said I had six hours long surgery. She talked about x-rays after the surgery, recovery time, etc. Next day they took me outside. I was still sore, but I was finally able to pee on my own. Student who took care of me was very sweet, and I gave her a lot of kisses. She talked to someone every day two to three times a day about me. Just when I thought I will spend the rest of my life abandoned in a cage…what a surprise…my family came today afternoon to pick me up. They hugged me a lot, and they said they missed me very, very much. Mom said she wanted to tell you guys about me, and to thank you for all of your prayers, but every time she started talking (typing) about me she would start crying, so she decided to do it after I come home. I guess after all they love me. I was concerned what they might say about my new haircut, but it seems they don’t care… me neither, as long as I am finally home…
