Buddy actually let me sleep a bit last night 6 hours he was stable and sleeping, he finally woke me up at 5am because he was bleeding so bad from the drain tubes it was getting the bed and us both really wet and sticky so he started nudging me just like a person to clean him up. So I did and faked him again with cashew butter so he took another pain pill so he should be good. He has stopped the constant crying and I honestly thank God so much for this peace of mind. He does seem to be getting better, but damn the drain tubes are draining a lot of blood. With a warm cloth I slowly cleaned all his wounds and then put some gauze around them to help collect the blood. I will be glad to have my old companion back on his little feet again. He can barely walk, but he is trying and has a couple of times. He just looks like an old drunk man. :-) I love this dude beyond words.
