Buhari is a coupist Buhari is a Muslim fundamentalist Buhari - TopicsExpress

Buhari is a coupist Buhari is a Muslim fundamentalist Buhari is a Boko Haramist and sponsor Buhari is an old man and therefore a spent force Buhari hates Ndi Igbo and women. He put Ekwueme in kirikiri and his brother Shagari under house arrest. He murdered innocent people and imprisoned others. He is corrupt What has he been doing all these years Indeed he is the true face of everything evil and sectional politics in Nigeria. These are sentiments the opposition are peddling around. Fine. If he was and still is all these why did no one lock him up and throw away the keys just like he locked up some people? Let us look at the issue of corruption. We all agree that corruption is the bane of our democracy and must be stamped out. This current administration and many others all promised to do something about it. Buhari during his short period in office attacked it fearlessly. I would like to believe that all the people who went down deserved to go down. His determination to battle corruption must have scared his successors into another coup. OBJ with all his shortcomings put up the semblance of a fight against corruption by setting up EFCC and some people went down too. What is the state of the EFCC under this administration? How many corrupt people have been successfully investigated, acquited or prosecuted and sent down? Is there any hope of anyone of them being prosecuted despite the billions that we know are missing. Crime and punishment go together but under the current administration crime and punishment are enemies. Criminals are rather celebrated and corruption condoned in return for votes. A boss who felt that I was being too cautious about work issues once said to me no one wants to be found negligent but because we know that it is possible to be negligent we insure against it. So get on with things as carefully as you can but if it goes wrong then that is what our insurance is for. I will stand by you. However, if you do anything criminal, I cannot help you. The law will have to take its full course and if you have to go down then so be it. I cannot interfer with the law That was a powerful statement that boosted my confidence and clearly defined the boundaries. With this in mind I then ask, does this PDP led government share these principles? If not why. Not a single person who has their backing has ever been prosecuted and punished for the theft of our money and punìshed. No wonder why they are getting bolder as we go along. Sanusi was called a Boko Haramist but look who is standing up to and speaking against Boko Haram with death threats hanging over his head. I think that we need to leave the sentiments aside and face our issues. PDP as a party lacks discipline. Unless we take power away from them or dilute it in such a way that they will understand that Nigeria belongs to us all, they will run us aground. I am supporting Buhari because I have witnessed him deal with people many of whom deserved to be reined in and know that he is the only one in the race who does not care what sentiments anyone wants to trump up and will restore sanity in our polity. I may be totally wrong and stand to be corrected. Think right. Vote right. Save Nigeria.
