Building your metabolism Start with this..... If you eat 800kcals a day, how many calories will your body try and burn?......800! Really? YES! It will do this by down regulating everything (slowing shit down). Now this is bad for fat loss! If your looking to lose fat you want everything firing on all cylinders, by building a fat burning furnace (faster metabolism) you put yourself in a better position to maintain your fat loss! This is where people go wrong! Its been said before, you need to eat less and move more right?.... Yes, Correct! but oh so wrong at the same time.....confused? Ill try to explain! Of course you need to be in a calorie deficit to lose any sort of weight, that being said Id never take someones food away, when you can put the body in a deficit through training! So! If you were to eat 2800kcals how many will your body try and burn?...... 2800! Damn right it will! Make sure this food is REAL!! Your body will up-regulate everything (ramp your metabolism) to try and get through these extra calories, now if your metabolism is in a shit state this is where fat storage begins and becomes a problem - your eating too much! What if you trained your metabolism to be able to deal with this? Is this possible? yes.......ask my clients! In the beginning you may put on a little fat..... Deal with it!! Building a strong metabolism is worth it in the long run! Yes it takes time, but boy will you be happy once your there! Increase foods slowly Train hard (I mean HARD) Recover Go again The trick to this is be patient and consistent!
