Bullet and military button along the old Butterfield Trail in western Arizona. Probably from the California Column in 1862. They were issued 110 rounds in hopes that they would retain 100 as about 10% were expected to be lost along the trail. These are in a very remote area and they will stay right there in our museum and I am the curator. To remove them for the few bucks they might be worth would be a sin as all historical content would be lost.
