(PDN article) Could that be because Markwell has been allowed to get away with everything else, including animal neglect and abuse, polluting a creek that is a salmon habitat, piling dog waste in front of the pink warehouse (now referred to as Dog Hell), constructing a new addition without building permits, not licensing dogs, etc.? In our opinion, he most likely thought he would again be able to lie and bully his way out of this. Bottom line, he left his property, to walk across the street to where the protester was in her car, and attacked the vehicle. She experienced it, the police witnessed it, and he couldnt make fools out of the jury with his ridiculous explanation -- GUILTY! We applaud Maggie McDowell for standing up and following through. She was instrumental in getting the first protest organized and has been a loud voice for the dogs. Thank you to Rod Fleck for making sure justice was served. OH, and PDN, please STOP referring to all the outdated media references.
