Bummer... Jim Pugh got me convinced that I needed to check out the old Rhodes Suitcase pianos (I have a Rhodes Stage), so Ive been scouring Craigslist for months. Finally, one popped up on CL, at Guitar Showcase, close enough to WALK to even. I went by to check it out, sat down and played it, and it was killer. The man there knocked 150 $ off the already low price soon as he saw me checking it out. Offered to sell it to me for 650. I had exactly 680 $ on my debit card. I told him Id pay 650 out the door, and he said it was 715 after tax. He said I can ask the seller if hell take 650 out the door. Call me later. I said Cool. Dont sell it, I WANT IT, I just have to get pain for my gig tonight. So i clued back 3 hours later and asked if he heard from the seller. Guy goes Wouldnt you know it, some guy walked it an bought it an hour after you left for 800 $. Its gone. And by the way, the seller agreed to 650 out the door, but it sold. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!
