Bunch of pictures taken last weekend. I was just in awe of the mountains, the big sky, the clouds. In the morning, there was this 1 hour window to see the colors- from the blue hues of the pre-dawn, to the reddish glow of the rising sun over the mountaintops, and finally the golden light after sunrise. In the afternoon, clouds towered over the majestic mountains. We were over 10,000 feet, in thin air, dry and cool; and experienced thunderstorms, some hail, and an amazing rainbow. We hiked to hidden lakes and drove up and down steep inclines. And this was only one corner of the Sierras.
