Bunkie got good news about Gizmos kidney function studies - TopicsExpress

Bunkie got good news about Gizmos kidney function studies yesterday. The results came back a tad iffy when pre-dental procedure blood panels were done a few months ago and Bunkie took him back in last Friday for repeat blood and urine draws/screens. Bunkie and The Gizmeister are Bestest Buds, and the Big G is... well ... not a kitten anymore, so I was holding my breath in hopes the re-test would go our way. Bunkie had settled in for the weekend, assuming he might not hear anything until Monday, but knowing the SylvaniaVet and their ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING Team and these days almost unheard of standard of care, I assured him that if the tests came back indicative in ANY way that time was of the essence in intervening, Dr. Jens crew would not let Bunkie wait even so much as 48 hours to hear of it. SylvaniaVet did me one better - while Bunk and I were still on the phone, they called to inform him that Gizzies results were now falling within the high/normal range in terms of kidney function. Bunkie will see them Monday for follow-up, and we both agreed that Dr. Jen will very likely recommend the Hill Science Diet Kidney Support Diet for our boy from now on, which, upon researching online, Gizzie will likely find tasty, indeed, despite being a dyed-in-the-wool feline of discriminating tastes in the culinary department.
