PRAYER FOR A WAYWARD SON OR DAUGHTER, (FROM THE MOTHERS PRAYER BOOK) Mother of Sorrows, pray with me that the Precious Blood of Your Divine Son will not have been shed in vain for my poor child. Though wandering far from the right path, he (she) still has the claim of a straying sheep on the Good Shepherd. PLEAD WITH JESUS, to seek my child, lost in the wilderness of life. Open his (her) heart to the Light of the Divine Spirit, so that he (she) may see the folly of the life choices being made. For this child of mine, Your Son shed His blood. Cause __________ to make his (her) way back to Holy Mother Church, and to my arms which long to embrace so dear to me, and to you and to your Son. AMEN.
