Bureaucratic NHS foot-dragging over granting village pharmacy licence raises serious questions as to why NHS pen-pushers should dictate where chemists are allowed to operate in the first place? Surely they shouldnt see it as their responsibility to intervene in the market. Their duty is merely to ensure that licences are provided to qualified pharmacists.
