Burn an American flag its freedom of speech, fly a confederate flag its treason!!! If the Confederate Flag is a symbol of racism, then the 1861 34 Star-U.S. Flag should also represent racism as slavery was supported and existed in many Northern cities at the time of the civil war. In fact, the North and South waging war against each other could be defined as treason. Therefore, both flags would be considered associated with treason. However, we all know this is nonsense. America was formed by treasonous revolt against King George, that we consider patriotic and the spirit of American culture today. The Confederate States of America were primarily fighting because of oppressive taxes on plantation goods while Northern Ports were left alone, unfair representation and influence in government, and defending the Tenth Amendment. Let’s just ignore the fact the Confederacy was the Tea Party of the 1800′s. How about telling all the Mexicans they are not allowed to fly their flag!!
