Busia, Netherlands sign water and sanitation deal BUSIA County Government and SNV Netherlands Organization today signed a memorandum of understanding to provide Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services. Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong and Senior WASH Advisor for SNV Netherlands in Kenya signed the three-year agreement witnessed by County Water and Environment Executive, Bernard Yaite and County legal advisor Alex Etyang. The multi million projects will see SNV undertake comprehensive analysis of the water services sustainability in the County and facilitate the County in developing strategic plans and water policies. SNV will also formulate strategies for increased sector financing, sustainable management of water and sanitation services adoption of public private partnership models among others.
