Business Office Payment is Due AUGUST 15th 2014! See below for your options: The Priority-Registration payment deadline for the 2014FA semester has been adjusted from the date previously advertised (August 13th) to a later deadline of August 15th at 4 PM. If you wish to keep your schedule for 2014FA, please complete one of the six payment methods given below. Click on View Account and Make Payments to check your balance. (No statements will be mailed.) In order to protect your schedule you will need to complete one of the following steps before 4 PM on August 15, 2014: 1. Make payment in full (zero balance). 2. Make partial payment: Pay 25% of your total charges now and pay the remaining balance by September 2, 2014 at 4 PM. 3. Payment Plan: Pay 25% of your total balance now and sign up for the Payment Plan when it becomes available (later this month) on Buff Advisor. This will allow you to make three additional payments (25% of total charges each time) on September 15th, October 15th and November 14th. 4. Financial Aid: Must have “Accepted” financial aid award(s) in Buff Advisor for fall 2014 Financial Aid. Be sure the word “Accept” is visible for 2014FA when you click the Accept/Reject My Awards link, selecting the 2014 year, in the Financial Aid section. 5. Emergency Loan: Take out an Emergency Loan for Tuition/Fees. 6. Outside Agency Payments: Notify the Business Office no later than 4 PM, August 15th for outside agency payments (such as Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan). This must be done EVERY semester. PAYMENT OPTIONS: (1) Log in to Buff Advisor and under the Financial Information section click View Account and Make Payments, and pay on the web using a debit or credit card. Be sure to use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, since those are the browsers supported by WTAMU technology. (2) Payments may also be made from 9 AM – 4 PM at the Cashier window on the 1st floor of Old Main. (3) Mail in a payment to WTAMU Box 60999 Canyon, Texas 79016-0001. NOTE: Please mail your payment now if using this option, as payment must be RECEIVED in the Business Office before 4 PM August 15th. EMERGENCY LOANS are currently available on Buff Advisor, but will close at 4 PM on August 15, 2014. Apply online in Buff Advisor under the Financial Information section. Be sure to write down/screen shot your confirmation number. After you submit your Emergency Loan application, monitor your Buff email for the next 24-48 hours (allow extra time if you apply on a Friday or a weekend) to see if your application was successful and learn how it protects your schedule, as well as when the loan will actually post to your account. Read the information in the email to learn when an Emergency Loan must be repaid and where you can make payments. Emergency Loans are serviced externally by Panhandle Plains Student Loan Center.
