Business Tip of the Day: Become a painter. What I mean is, get good at painting the Vision for people - what that means, is that instead of spewing the same facts over and over to everyone you meet, get good at connecting THEIR need with the solution that YOU have. The magic happens when you find a need, and the person sees the vision of having that need met with what you are offering. For products, services or starting a business. Lets take weight loss as an example. Instead of my product is this or that and listing all the ingredients, benefits, etc or If you do this or that - here are some results. Instead, start asking QUESTIONS! So Mr. Customers, why are you failing on your current or past diets? Is your schedule busy or open? What are your bad habits or pitfalls? What is important to you in a program? How committed are you to having success of your weight loss goal? Lets say they answer something like this: I am running crazy from sun up to sun down. I dont have time to grocery shop or prepare healthy meals and snacks. I end up binging on anything I can get my hands on! I need to get this 60 pounds off SO bad! I hate the way I look, the way I feel and I am ready! Heres how you can respond: What if I told you about a healthy program that fits any lifestyle, its affordable and guarantees results...Let me tell you about Betty. She had a similar situation and is down 42 pounds in 5 months. Isnt it going to be a huge relief to know you can grab a healthy meal 2-3 times a day, on the go with our program? Betty put a two piece on at the beach this year for the first time since her early 20s!! How will you feel when you lose that 60 pounds? I cant wait to show you her results....I cant wait to share YOUR story with someone in the future to inspire THEM! That is VISION. I only dropped in stats where needed. OR....the Vision to start a business. Take time to find out: WHY someone wants to start a business How much TIME they can invest and if they have experience WHAT their current life/schedule is like HOW you can help them Then, instead of pitching people you are filling needs. Not every persons situation is the same. You may say, based on your current job, obligations and priorities, it looks like you can commit to 10 hours a week building your business. Let me tell you about Bob. He joined our team 6 months ago and is already earning $2,500 a month and was able to stop working overtime at work by following our system. He is paying off debt and is now teaching others, so his team is growing! You also said support is important to you so I wanted you to feel confident that myself and others will be there to support you as you are learning. FIND a need - FILL a need People dont make a decision until they can see themselves in the story. Most people spew facts and figures and tell their own story.
