This is what my home smells like right now. Mmm. Ive posted this before, but how can banana bread get over posted? Hahaha. Here is the recipe I use. My Mom made this every yr. So good. :) 1 cup butter 1 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla 4 eggs Cream together. Butter can be kinda soft, but NOT melted! Add 3 cups AP flour 1 tsp salt 3/4 tsp cream of tarter 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 soured milk (add 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar to milk, I make this at the beginning) 1 cup mashed RIPE bananas 1 cup or less or none, of chopped walnuts I dont add walnuts usually. . Bake at 350 for 50 min to an hour. I also add a powdered sugar glaze once its cooled. Smear some cream cheese on a slice and youve got heaven in your hand LOL. No need for trivets when you have #3 skillets to use lol
