Busy and exciting week at work putting the knowledge to use that I learned at the hairshow in Nola!! Today for the second year in a row I was able to help friends at MetroShoe Warehouse outfit schools with shoes for kiddos for fall:)) Todays stop was particularly emotional for me because I briefly attended the school and lived in this area of Oklahoma City as a young child. Seeing the hurt and anger and In the eyes some of these children painfully reminded me of that horrible season in my childhood. Having come from a lower income home as young child I can relate to these kids,& what they might be living in and seeing in their home. As I drove away I began to cry just thinking about what they might be going through based on what I went through... I feel so blessed to have been able to go back to Bodine elementary school, and help out and hug so many sweet& innocent children and put a smile on their face!! Thank you Heath Heath Martin for your kind and giving heart!!!
