Busy day again today, Showbyz the Morgan mare got picked up to head to her wonderful home this morning, she was bid on by Morgan Safenet at the Mels Stables Auction. She was sick and is now cleared for travel. In the middle of stall cleaning, I have barn help in the upper barn doing stall work, and Tom is cleaning the QT barn. I have a knee injury, I believe something is torn, seen the Doc, had x-rays, been a long week using a cane and needing help to get up, MRI now scheduled for Monday, I hate feeling useless and not being able to sleep proper :( once the stalls are completed we are headed to the New Holland auction to meet a kill broker with trailer in tow, 2 horses have been pulled from his kill lot with the help of Omega Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, a QH mare and a Standardbred Gelding. We will meet him there to offload from his truck onto our trailer, they are safe. Pics to follow. Wish I could do more :(
