But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in the mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into perfect law of liberty and continues in it, not a forgetful hearer but will be blessed in what he does. James 1:22-25 Our faith in Christ must collide with appropriate action. Living for Christ implies repentance and the birth of a new creation. A hunger is born for the things of God, and to live according to that new life that is found in Christ. The forgetful listener is the person who attend church every week and listens to the word, but never engages the message toward life change. The Word of God is designed to be lived out, and the hearing of the Word is a catalyst to that change, Satan continues to sabotage your life after you have heard the good news. Disregard the lies, Live out the truth. Just more Word in the close...: For as is the body without the Spirit is dead.so is faith without works dead. James 2:26 Father, here we are again in joy , praying that our partnership with the communion of the Holy Sprirt will allow us to do the works as unto you, that show you and others our faith by our works.
