But dont get me wrong, being a police officer isnt an easy job to have either. Think about it, you have a job to enforce the law, and if your a good-cop, you feel strongly compelled to protect the general public, so you want to be as thorough as you can be at your job of law enforcement. As being an officer of the law, you cannot simply disregard the constitution, particularly speaking the 4th and 5th constitutional rights. But at the same time, your trying to enforce the law, and find out if there are any more laws being broken. If you are a law abiding citizen, it might seem like harassment when you are pulled over by the police, and they are seemingly badgering you by asking you a million questions. And while I like to shoot the breeze with law enforcement as much as the next guy, I know how to terminate the encounter virtually upon request. If you dont, then it is my opinion you need to learn how, because I realize also that there are a lot of innocent people who simply handled an engagement improperly who have charges against them that show on their public record that quite frankly I think 80% or better of the general public is guilty of, difference usually isnt they were never caught, its how they handled the engagement.
