"But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres [keeps looking], being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing." James 1:25 While you see that the law requires you to be always, perfectly good--that which is normal to God--you realize the impossibility of meeting this requirement and realize also that there must be another way to live. This other way is the unmerited favor of God. When you see that He views you based on His generosity and not your performance you automatically feel that the pressure is off. Now your mind fills with grace toward yourself and everyone else as well.
