But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. (Deuteronomy 30:14-16 NKJV) If you love The LORD with all your heart and walk in His Ways and keep His Commandments then by your actions you are choosing life and good! When you love the world and only consider yourself, your problems, your worries, your wants and desires and the cares of this world are your only thoughts, then you are choosing death and evil! Saying or Confessing you are Blessed does not make you blessed by God. Being obedient to His Commandments and being a doer of The Word is how you become blessed. When you DO The Word, instead of doing the dictates of your heart, the the Blessings of God will chase you down! If you want to be blessed and not cursed, repent from your wicked ways! Acknowledge your sin and repent! What is sin? Disobedience! If God says dont do something and we do it - that is disobedience. If God says DO something and we dont do it - that is disobedience. Sin separates us from God. Sin hardens our heart. Sin brings on the Curse! The only way to have the Blessings is to walk uprightly before God in obedience to Him. If you have fear and worry in your heart then you are not doing what God says! He says do not fear! He says do not worry! Fear and worry are spirits that you are entertaining; who are taking your mind off of God. When you worry you are no longer focused on His Word, but are only thinking about things of this world! Worry is the same as faith in that it projects the future, but in the negative. They both demand to be! When you speak faith God is quick to perform. When you speak worry the enemy does the same. Worry is sin and has to be repented of! When you allow worry to occupy your thoughts, it shows a lack of trust in God! It actually is saying, God You are not powerful enough to take care of these things. You have failed me before, so Id better hold onto them! Especially when you pray and then continue to worry. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:6-8 NKJV) Deal with the sins in your heart! Dont allow sin to give the enemy a legal right to reside in your life. Unconfessed, unrepented sin does indeed allow the enemy legal dominion over your life, body, home, finances, marriage, and even your children! Then people would say: ‘Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt; for they went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they did not know and that He had not given to them. Then the anger of the LORD was aroused against this land, to bring on it every curse that is written in this book.(Deuteronomy 29:25-27 NKJV) “For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.(Deuteronomy 30:11-14 NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. (John 1:1-5 NKJV) Do The Word! Obey! When you miss it - Repent! Even so - MARANATHA!
