Buyer beware when it comes to Tier One Internet. We were - TopicsExpress

Buyer beware when it comes to Tier One Internet. We were disappointed in their service and support so we switched to WiFive. WiFive removed the TierOne hardware (because TierOne wasnt in any hurry to come get it). We called to inform them to come pick up the equipment but they stated they would not come get it and would charge $400 for it using our card on file. Keep in mind there is no contract, we did not authorize any form of autopayment, and we did not authorize any card to be saved on file. We did not damage the equipment or refuse to send it to them. We even sent a revokation of any authorization pursuant to Federal Law regulation E section 205.10. Apparently TierOne does whatever they please as they went ahead and charged our card just minutes after ending the call (not even enough time for use to put their equipment in a box). They are stating that we made the order, yet our address and phone number on the so called order is not our information. We are now fighting the bank to reverse the charge and will inform anyone within Tier One ear shot of the horrible experience.
