Buyers remorse is very high in the photography world. So in the future all clients will be required to sign this prior to the scheduled session. All deposits made are non-refundable. If weather is bad we will reschedule. If your kid is sick we will reschedule. If you are having financial issues we will reschedule. (This is not for Wedding Clients as that is a separate contract) Here is the binding contract: To reserve the Session Date and to reserved the Photographer, Client shall pay to Photographer, upon execution of this Agreement, a non-refundable reservation fee in the amount of 50% of the package price. Client understands and agrees that Photographer will not book other sessions during this time. In the event that Client cancels the portrait session or fails to attend the session on the Session Date, for any reason, Photographer shall suffer losses that are difficult to ascertain. As such, Client agrees that, in the event of cancelation by Client, such 50% of the package price shall be forfeited by Client and paid to Photographer as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. Client and Photographer agree that such amount is reasonable.
