By Jackie Amor, Phoenix Volunteer: Help for our Friends As I sit here quietly, my dogs are sleeping sound, I think about the dogs out there in cages or in pounds. Dogs that are abused, mistreated and thrown away. So I am working extra harder now, day by day by day. We need to spread the word that dogs are not just not toys to be replaced when one gets old or because they make a noise. We need the famous to listen and recruit more to the cause, to save our furry friends and get them back onto their paws. We need the politicians to think more than just saving money. The emphasis needs to be put on those who think abuse is funny. We need to turn the tables and train people not the hounds. Now that we have started our efforts will know no bounds. People if you are out there and think what we are doing is right come and join our army and fight injustice with your might. Come and help us save our friends, those that have no choice. Spreading help and speaking up for those who have no voice.
