By Jennifer Kass It can be scary and confusing in uncertain times, but when we look back at past times we felt this way and what was on the other side of fear, we can remember there is always a bigger and better plan about to unfold and we are rocking it every time we’re jumping through those rings of fire. This week, I’m seeing friends and clients who are breaking into uncharted territory and going for what they really want move into a space of struggle when things aren’t showing up as quickly as they want them to. And struggle is a choice. We can choose a better way. Nothing is ever withheld from us as punishment or because the Uni-verse has forgotten us. (Tweet-worthy!) In every moment we are not experiencing an external manifestation of something we want – maybe it’s the relationship, the money in the bank, growth in our business – we have not aligned with it yet because of where we stand internally. Everything we manifest is a reflection of our thoughts, intentions, and actions; some of these experiences can be tied into a soul lesson, which means our soul is trying to learn something for the sake of its growth and evolution. Two ideas to keep in mind when you’re feeling blocked: 1. What is going on internally. We block what we want because of a block within ourselves. We have patterns we need to release in order to get to the next level in our life, whether it’s with a new relationship, expansion in our business or finances, or feeling even more free and happy. Identifying our patterns requires getting really honest with ourselves and releasing any old ideas that are holding us back from our full potential. The biggest one for me was this idea that I needed to be saved. It was very unconscious and I had no idea I was feeling like a princess in a tower with a dragon outside – and it was keeping me from living my life NOW, taking responsibility for my own happiness, and everything else I wanted to bring into my life. Stop waiting for this external thing to come around and make everything okay – is your knight in shining armor the guy, the money, the perfect apartment? Let it go now, so you can empower yourself and be the creator of your own life. Then it can come in from your new internal space of abundance, not lack. 2. There is divine timing. The experience of not having what we want allows us to strengthen and refine virtues – think patience, trust, faith, surrender. When we’re pioneering our own path, stepping out into the unknown, following our dreams, our heart, it’s easy to step out of the flow of surrender and knowing everything is unfolding in perfect timing and into the space of fear and struggle. This happens when we are judging the process and when we’ve decided that things need to look a certain way right now. We might go back into our old ways of trying to control outcomes and situations and forcing things to happen, which is the best way to repel what we want. We are not meant to be the judges of what things “should” look like or when things “should” happen because we can’t see the future and what is trying to unfold. Pulling in the spiritual tools and virtues of patience and surrender slides us back on track and into alignment with our desired outcome. This week, I invite you to trust the process. Trust the process of your own healing or your dreams unfolding. Know that with the slightest bit of willingness, you will uncover anything that’s holding you back and break free. I’d love to hear from you in the comments below about what you’re doing to push past your blocks and stay in a space of surrender. Are you feeling blocked and not manifesting something you desire? What patterns have you identified that might be holding you back? Do you get off track when your ego comes in and judges your life? thedailylove/push-past-your-blocks/
