By May 29, 1999, we had 23 PDPgovernors, 6 AD and 7 APP. 8yearsafter, this is their story:- (A) PDP-23governors 1- lbori- PDP Delta- in prisonforlooting 2- Alameseiya- PDP BayelsaEx-convict for looting 3- LuckyIgbinedion: PDP- Edo- Ex –convict forlooting 4- Odili- PDP Rivers-in court forlooting 5- Chimaroke- PDP- Enugu- incourt for looting 6- Ayo Fayose-PDP-Ekiti- in court for looting 7- Ladoja-PDPOyo- In court for looting 8- Alao Akala-PDP Oyo- In court for looting 9-GbengaDaniel –PDP Ogun- in court for looting10-Ohakim- PDP-Imo - In court forlooting 11-Adamu Muazu- Bauchi(current PDP national chairman), incourt for looting over N19 Billion fromthe state treasury 12-Dariye- PDPPlateau- in court for looting. 13- JollyNyame- PDP Taraba- in court forlooting the state treasury 14-AbdulahiAdamu- PDP Nassarawa- in court forlooting the state treasury 15- BoniAruna- PDP Adamawa- (newlyappointed minister byJonathan) incourt for looting the treasury 16- Ex-gov. Jigawa- in court for lootingtreasury 17- Uzor Kalu- PDP Abia- incourtfor looting the treasury (B). AD toAC, 6 govs NO Ex governor ever beentaken to court for treasury looting.NOTE:- Tinubu of Lagos was dragged toCode of Conduct Tribunal for havingforeign accounts while in power againstgovernment policy of zero foreignaccount for public officials. He wasfound not guilty because he had theaccounts before his election to theoffice of governor. Case dismissed. (C).APP-( ANPP) 7 gov 1- Baffarawa APPSokoto in court for looting (he is now ina PDP member) 2- Prince Audu- ANPPKogi- in court for looting. So APC ledby AD/ AC/ACN of the past is leadingthe pack, does it not make perfectsense to allow these people to lead atthe center? If you agree or disagree,please state your reason WITH fact.
