(By Nick Harrison) According to reports and scientific evidences, over forty civilizations disappeared during the history of humanity, guess why? Lack of water !!! Caused mainly by deforestation, improper use of soil, natural resources and partly by natural climate change, since the climate is unpredictable, even without the presence of man changing it. (Scientifically proved fact by the great extinctions in mass of past geological eras, such as the Great Permian Extinction, which lasted tHOUSANDS OF YEARS AND CAUSED EXTINCTION OF 95% OF THE SPECIES OF THE PLANET), caused by massive eruptions, when thousands of volcanoes became in activity in the place is now Siberia. In this time, the man does not even dreamed of walking on the Earth. It would take million of years for our anthropoid ancestors appeared in AFRICA. With the emergence of Homo sapiens, something interesting happened later: The invention of agriculture and the emergence of the first civilizations. The creation of the State, the domain and enslavement of primitive or less technological civilizations in military terms, that does not mean they were inferior in terms of knowledge of nature, or as a social organization. And even the Mayans, Incas and Aztecs, who had domain of scientific knowledge became extinct (as a civilization), not only by European invasion, but mainly by climate changes in those regions, which led to extended periods of drought. ANOTHER CIVILIZATION important that was extinguished by drought caused almost entirely by them, was the Easter Island due to deforestation. Now imagine our civilization... will surviver with our excesses ? Consider what is already happening around the world : one billion people do not have water to drink and countries like Brazil , earst full of manaciais , are suffering from long periods of drought and lack of water in their big cities like São Paulo . What do we do ? Think about this question .
