By Tim Neely A month ago today Lisa and I were sitting in paradise in honeymoon bliss, enjoying every moment of our new life together. Little did we know a month later we would be siting in an ICU going on 15 days, how quickly things can change in our lives and how quickly the plans we laid for our future have changed. One thing sitting in a hospital provides you with is a lot of spare time to think and to question why ...why God would you do this, why allow this to happen ?. It is really easy to focus on the things you can see and to forget about the things unseen in the panic and confusion of crisis in our lives. The why is simply this ..God allows us to make choices and sometimes the choice we make isnt the best ..but he allows us that freedom of choice because He isnt a God who forces us to make wise decisions . The thing I do know for certain is that God was in the car that night and my son is here tonight because of that fact, And in the last two weeks ive seen Gods hand move so many times ive lost count. The love and support of friends, family, church family and complete strangers has been overwhelming and truly God sent ....Psalm 18:10. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe...... It is so easy to praise God when times are good, but sing praise to Him during the bad and He will bless you beyond measure ...He is our strong tower!!!
