By prince buruji kashamu said Obasanjo books is full of lie..Buruji Kashamu The Chairman of the Organisation and Mobilisation Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party in the South-West, Buruji Kashamu, has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s recently published autobiography, My Watch, as a book filled with lies. He said this at a press conference in Lagos on Monday. Kashamu, who had gone to court in order to prevent Obasanjo from publishing the book, said the fact that Obasanjo went ahead to publish the book despite a court order restraining him not to do so, showed that Obasanjo was not a good role model. He said, “If Chief Obasanjo likes, let him continue to disobey court orders and write tens of thousands of such books, it does not matter and cannot change anything. All that he has written in his book is worthless and cheap blackmail. If he is truly a father figure as he wants the whole world to and crap such publish not would he believe, gleefully present it to the public. “If he truly loves Nigeria as he is wont to claim, he would not want to pull down the roof over the whole house just because he wants to continue to be relevant in the scheme of things. This Obasanjo does not love Nigeria. He wants to destroy it, just because he no longer calls the shots. He loves himself and himself alone.” He, therefore, said it was hypocritical of Obasanjo to criticise President Goodluck Jonathan, who he described as a true democrat. of habit the in was Obasanjo said Kashamu disobeying court orders and blatantly did so during his time in office. He said, “Chief Obasanjo’s conduct in and out of office does not support his claim of being a law-abiding citizen. It is on record that while in office as a democratically elected President, he disobeyed court judgments, even those of the Supreme Court, with reckless abandon. “Apart from his disregard for many of the apex court’s decisions in respect of his deputy, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, he stubbornly withheld the allocations due to local governments in Lagos State until he left office in spite of a Supreme Court judgment ordering his government to release the funds. Then, there was his interpretation of the Onshore/Offshore on verdict court’s apex Dichotomy suit, among others. “Besides, there were various types of political corruption and electoral heist, culminating in a deluge of electoral petitions, the upturning of many contrived victories and plots. All these now belong in the Nigeria of yesteryears, not today’s.” He said the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), was Obasanjo’s godson. He, therefore, urged Nigerians not to vote for Buhari as it would take the country back to the days of the military.
