I recently spent 3 days with Dave surviving in the wilderness in a (kinda) secret location just north of Newcastle. For 2 years now Dave has packed his van and taken off on a journey to survive for months in what Dave affectionately calls it The last Frontier.... This Environmental Superhero,ventures off with nothing but the essentials. A tent, some water, a fishing rod, a little rice and his surfboard. His mission. To protect mother ocean! He has spent the Last 8 weeks picking up plastic pollution from the beach and sand dunes on the last beach in the east coast non accessible by vehicle. All of the plastic collected has washed in from the ocean. (NB:The photos of the van where taken at Daves Emergency camp where he keeps essential supplies he can access in an emergency.)
