C.O.P.S. needs your help in sending No Parole letters for the following two cases: 1) Beaumont (TX) Police Officer Lisa Beaulieu, EOW 4/27/2007, was struck and killed by a drunk driver while protecting the scene of another accident. The driver who killed her was sentenced to 11 years, with it mandatory that he serve half that time. He is now being considered for parole. No hearing date has been set, but he is in the review process. That process takes 4 to 6 months and TDCJ is requesting comments now for consideration. The offender is Willie McCray. His State ID is 06792825, his TDCJ ID is 01485117. Protest letters can be sent to TDCJ, Victim Services Division, 8712 Shoal Creek Blvd., Ste.265, Austin, Tx 78757-6899, or they may be emailed to [email protected]. Please reference his ID numbers. ___________________________________________ 2) (second request) The family of Winona County Sheriff’s Investigator John J. Schneider of Winona, MN will travel to St. Paul, MN, on May 12, 2014 and go before the Minnesota Commissioner of Corrections & Advisory panel to fight for their loved one, who gave his life in the line of duty on September 7, 1980, after 22 years of service protecting his community. The offender John Arthur Kirch, OID: 116185, is currently serving a life sentence in Stillwater, MN. If anyone would like to support the Schneider family in making sure John Kirch continues his life sentence, please send letters or E-mails before April 28, 2014.
