#CAIR Condemns Reported Massacre by Boko Haram (WASHINGTON, D.C., 1/10/15) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today condemn a reported massacre by the Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram and urged the international community to assist that nation in efforts to eliminate the group’s threat to the civilian population. In a statement following reports of up to 2,000 people being massacred by Boko Haram, CAIR said: “We condemn this latest outrage by the terrorist group Boko Haram and urge the international community to redouble its efforts to deal with the threat that group poses to the civilian population in Nigeria and in neighboring countries.” CAIR has condemned Boko Haram in the past and has called for the release of the almost 300 schoolgirls who were kidnapped by the terror group.
