#CAIR-NJ Action Alert: Show Support for Eid Holidays at the East Brunswick School Board Meeting (SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ, 12/17/2014) - On December 18, East Brunswick Public School’s Board of Education is holding a meeting at 8 p.m. to decide on the 2015 – 2016 school calendar. The Muslim Student Association from East Brunswick High School submitted a petition to the Board to have Eid ul-Adha included on the calendar as a holiday. This will help Muslim students feel more included and represented in the public school system and eliminate the need for students to be absent on eid.
