Here and There Oil Paintings The paintings for this exhibition reflect my continuing fascination with landscape – in particular the landscape predominantly around the Viking Way. I am interested in how light transforms the usual into the unusual. How fleeting glimpses of the transitions of colour suddenly light up the forms in the landscape. This magical, mysterious and ethereal effect, albeit short lived, leaves an impression on me. It sews the seed for my imagination.
