CALL FOR APPLICATION JUVENTAFEST 2015. International Festival of High School Theatre Juventafest 2015. Association for Development and Promotion of Multimedia Arts and Culture „Medija-Art“is organizing 3. International Festival of High School Theater Juventafest, in period from 12th to 16th September 2015. in Sarajevo. Every high school drama and theater troupes are eligible for participation. Each participant/performer in stage performance (actors, choir members, dance troupes and musicians) must be of a high school age. Preferably, but not necessarily, authors in creative team of the production applying, should be of the same age group (stage design, sound design, light design, costumes design, hair and make-up etc.). Minimum length of the performance applying is 30 minutes (there is no limit for maximum length of the performance applying). In the application material it is obligatory to send high quality video recording of the performance, exclusively in DVD format. Recording must be made in one master shot from a single camera position and unedited. Our official Festivals selector Mrs. Asja Krsmanović will select up to eight performances for our Festival’s competition/main selection. When selected, It is obligatory for each participant to attend all of the Festival programs contents. In the case of inability to provide or maintain any of the requested Festival requirements (and as well the conduct during the Festival; cooperation with the Festival hosts, other participants and/or troupes, overall impression) will affect the individual and groups evaluation from the part of Festival organizers, and will be taken into account for eventual sanctions/disqualification and possibilities for future collaboration with the Festival. Festival lasts for five days. Besides competition program, this Festival takes great attention to its workshops/educational program. Festival is organizing four performing arts workshops for each participant. Our official Festivals jury will consist of three members chosen among theater experts, dramaturges, theater actors, directors, and authors strongly involved in theatrical education. According to Festival rules, jury will decide upon the following Festival awards: 1. Grand Prix for the Best Festival Performance 2. Special Award for Innovative Approach in Theatrical Arts. Rules mentioned above can be subject to changes and amendments by Festivals organization at their own discretion. Festivals organization will provide meals and accommodation for all participants during the festival. Theater troupes must arrange transportation on they own account. Association „Medija – Art“ is the only legitimate organizer of International Festival of High School Theatre Juventafest.
