CALL TO ACTION: HB 875 - Georgias pro-gun bill was passed today by the Georgia House of Representatives. This bill has been characterized as one of the most aggressive state level pro-gun legislation of its kind in the country. It would endanger more Georgians in more public places. The bill will go to the State Senate next. We need your help in speaking out against HB 875. Be forewarned, we will be asking you to lobby/call/write different members of the Senate and Governors staff for the next two weeks. This call to action is only step one. On Wednesday (February 19) please call AND email your state Senator and say that you oppose HB 875. Use your own words as much as possible, but a sample statement could be: Hello my name is Jane/John Smith. I am a constituent of Senator ______ Please tell the Senator that I oppose HB 875 and any gun bill that puts guns in more places.SHARE ! If we work together we can stop this bill.
