CALLED OR CHOSEN? For many are called, but few are chosen. Many who are in the church may prove to be without the wedding garment, and show at last that they were not the chosen of God. It does not mean, therefore, that the great mass in the church are simply called and not chosen, or are hypocrites; but the great mass in the human family, in the time of Christ, who had been called, had rejected the mercy of God. If any one will observe the populous congregations, and inquire how many there are who live a better kind of life, and are being transformed in the renewing of their mind; and how many who are careless in their conversation and conformed to this world. So, all of God’s “chosen” will be saved without exception; they will hear and respond because they have spiritual ears to hear the truth. God’s power makes this certain. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those that are chosen, there is much required of you, you are and must give up your whole being and self to walk in the path of Jesus. (IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU)
