CAN GHANA DRAW WITH GERMANY...... I know this is complete nonsense but I dont care. I know its risky but I wanna try. When Ghana lost to USA by 1-2, the tension and bashing in Ghana was so hot that coach Kwasi Appiah could feel it thousand miles away in Maceio. People from all all walks of life criticised and lambasted the coach for using wrong players in the right positions and the right players in the wrong positions. Grannies, damsels,boys and men offered suggestions as to what could be best for the stars. Other even threatened the oach to resign or be saced because he lost narrowly to the almighty USA. And so in the next game, the coach did exactly what the voice of the people sounded. Made the right changes, chose the right measures and drafted a great strategy all withing 4 days. In the end, it more than paid off as Ghana secured an incredible 2-2 draw with the super power Germany. Now, whether we qualify or not, that result is gonna stand till the next 4 years. Germany held Ghana to a draw. A 2-2 draw. But my question is, is it only in football that we must apply all these pressure, keenness and impatient to achieve the desired results??? I understand you all are aware about the abundant soccer talents available to us as a nation that makes us think that we can wrestle with the giants if we adopt the proper approach and mentality. But is it only in football that we have resources in abundance? Is it only in soccer that God gifted us? WHY can we not channel that positive and avidity approach on the other sectors? Imagine if we all could show such an impatience to other leaders whose performances are just like Kwasi Appiah in the USA game? Every Ghanaian woman, man and children knew without even watching that Kwasi Appiah has Kwadwo Asamoah in a bad position. Do we have the right people in all the right positions back home? Why do we not show such voraciousness when there is an appointment of ministers. Wrong ones in right positions? Can we not secure a draw with political appointments with Germany? Can we secure a DRAW with Germany in terms of Infrastructure for just a year. Can we fight to secure an economic and financial DRAW with Germany ? Can we try that hard to secure a DRAW with Germany in terms of Electricity supply? Can we not die this hard to secure a draw with Germany in terms of Health Delivery for one year? Such that our health sector is as essential as it is in Germany for a year? What could be the impact if our Cedi finally secure a draw with the Euro for just a year. Can we strive to secure a leadership equality (DRAW) with Germany for at least a year? Where all our leaders think and act exactly like how their German counterparts do?? Can we argue for an agriculture and food production DRAW with Germany so that we able to produce and feed ourselves for a whole year without imports as Germany does? Can we not get a Transportation DRAW with Germany for a year? Such that the road, aviation and railway systems are as effective as it is in Germany. Can we aspire for an Educational DRAW with Germany?? And finally, can we as people develop a positive attitudinal DRAW with Germany such that we conduct ourselves in orderliness, cleanliness, disciplined and a complete set of people who have been indoctrinated to obey rules or a code of behaviour just as majority of German are? We were all happy and felt proudly as Ghanaians yesternight for our National Soccer teams performance against our fellow human beings Germany. So I ask, Apart from soccer, which other aspect again will we be able to match the Germans and the United States? Must it always be Football? If we all believed that constructive criticisms, intense pressure, impatience, extreme expression of dissatisafaction and unified public agitation can make a BLACKMAN Kwasi Appiah conduct himself and act like a WHITEMAN Joachim Loew, why do we suddenly become hypocritically divided on other fronts. Like the economy, education, health etc. With a football performance and results, its apparent to all eyes. As I said, I know this might sound as NONSENSE.
