CAN YOU HAVE SUCCESS AFTER RECOVERY FROM AN ADDICTION? thecorecenters Sooo we met a Latino gentleman at a substance abuse industry event on Friday and he reminded us why we start The Core Centers. His story goes like this: He grew up in Little Havana in Miami, no money, tough kid, rough streets. He followed an unfortunate path like many of his friends did - he became a drug dealer and eventually a drug addict. 15 - 20 years of drug dealing, drug abuse and battles with the law. Eventually, he made a choice and he decided to get sober. Fast forward, he is now sober, happy and a successful businessman. He continues to give back and educate to young people that are following a bad path. He is an inspiration and a reminder of great things are possible when you decide to get sober. Get HELP. Get HOPE.
